Rock your way to Station Casinos this August for killer house entertainment. Station Casinos continues to entertain locals Las Vegas residents with a number of new weekly acts and shows at several of its properties in addition to its trademark bands that the city has grown to love.

 

New entertainment includes Third Town every Friday night at Aliante Station performing country rock originals. Guests take over the stage every Thursday night at Aliante during karaoke. The new pool party at Green Valley Ranch, EO Fridays, continues through August featuring live music and drink specials. The King Mixers continue to rock audiences at Sunset Station with their fun costumes, naughty banter and British rock ranging from Kings of Leon to The Beatles. Most shows are free or will be noted below if they have a minimal cover charge. Coming this month are:

* The Backyard – DrZhivegas gets audiences dancing with its rock ‘n’ roll meets dance club funk sound during EO Fridays. Doors open at 5 p.m. and DrZhivegas performs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a DJ spinning before and after. Guests must be 21 years and older.

* Ovation – The Michael Grimm Band performs from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Grimm performs his personal blend of music where a country boy melds soul and rock accompanied by his 12-piece band. The band will not play on Aug. 14 as Songwriter Carolyn Dawn teaches the audience the story behind the song in Nashville Unplugged at 8 p.m.

* Ovation – Steel Panther performs from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. This ’80s glam metal parody band demonstrates their spirit and love of everything rock ‘n’ roll with their colorful repartee, loud costumes and graphic body language. Guests must be 21 years and older.

* Quinn’s Irish Pub – Darby O’Gill & The Little People take the stage from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.

* Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Peter Love on piano from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.
