Lakeside movies series adds to the free entertainment line-up taking place this summer.

Lake Las Vegas provides a beautiful backdrop for the large movie screen set up on the lawn and movie-goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or low-back chair to use. Guests can make a night of it by enjoying a stroll through The Village shops or by having dinner at one of the many delicious restaurants before the movie starts.
Other hits being shown in June are “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” (PG) on June 11, “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” (PG) on June 18 and “Twilight” (PG-13) on June 25.
The lineup heats up with “Ironman” (PG-13) on July 2, “Mamma Mia” (PG-13) on July 9, “The Water Horse” (PG) on July 16, “Journey to the Center of the Earth” (PG) on July 23 and “Breakin” (PG) on July 30.

All movies will be shown on the lakeside lawn at The Village which is located in Henderson at 15 Costa di Lago. Movie-goers should be advised that no coolers are allowed at these showings.
The Thursday addition of “Movies al Fresco” creates a fun-filled weekend lineup at The Village joining the already popular Friday night lakeside live music series and Saturday night’s “Jazz on the Lake” series.
