The Comedy Stop announces the upcoming line up of stellar comedians that will perform in the legendary Congo Room at the Sahara Hotel & Casino. The up and coming performers will have the crowds crying with laughter as they perform at the iconic Comedy Stop stage. The schedule is*:

August 17-23

* Tim Walkoe – Co-headliner
o Tim Walkoe has been performing on stages across the country with his fast-paced style of comedy combining improvisation with music. Walkoe was a grand prize winner of ABC’s “America’s Funniest People” and has appeared in programs such as FOX’s “Murder in Small Town X” and networks such as A&E, Showtime, HBO and PBS.
* Manny Oliveria – Co-headliner
o Manny Oliveria has been performing for audiences for more than 30 years starting out as a stage actor and moving into stand up comedy. With his improvisational style and astute observations on family, religion, relationships and current events, he has been a favorite among audiences of all types.
* Glen Jensen
o Glen Jensen’s unique style of down home views wrapped in a cynical urban coating type of comedy and perfectly timed material has been impressing audiences across the United States and Canada and has earned him opening spots for The Doobie Brothers, Al Jarreau and Spyro Gyra.

August 24-30

* Peaches Rodriguez
o Peaches Rodriguez is a Latina stand-up comic who was a world-class breakdancer in the 1980s. Her mix of twisted perspective comedy and edgy humor has won her fans around the globe – literally. Rodriguez has performed in at least three USO tours of duty where she traveled to countries in the Middle East entertaining the troops.
* Chris Coccia
o A native of Philadelphia, Chris Coccia has performed his stand-up routine for audiences around the world. Performing on stages across the country and at military bases in Asia and Guam. Coccia’s comedy is based on his life and his ability to gather funny stories that the audience can relate to. Coccia has been seen on Comedy Central’s “Stand and Deliver” and has opened for music legends such as David Sanborn, Chicago, Roy Clark and the Oak Ridge Boys.
* Brian McFadden
o Brian McFadden’s edgy, manic musings on dysfunctional families, dating, relationships and the absurdities of modern life have propelled him to appearances on MTV, Comedy Central and numerous cable comedy shows.

The Comedy Stop performs at 9 p.m. seven nights a week inside the Congo Room at the Sahara Hotel & Casino. Guests must be 21 years of age or older.
