The Alan Parsons Live Project will perform their hits on Saturday, August 8 at the Cannery Hotel and Casino in North Las Vegas. The special one-night performance begins with Paramount’s Original Laser Spectacular choreographed to Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side Of The Moon.” The band will continue the show with live performances of the hits of the Alan Parsons Project. The show starts at 8 p.m. and doors open at 7 p.m.

British progressive rock band, The Alan Parsons Project, is best known for its complex compilations of instrumentals and revolving lead vocalists. Producer and musician Alan Parsons, known for his work on several successful albums including The Beatles’ Abbey Road and Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon, and singer-songwriter and manager Eric Woolfson formed the group in 1974. The Alan Parsons Project released ten albums, 14 compilation albums and 28 singles, taking the genre of rock music to new heights. Hit singles include “I Wouldn’t Want to Be Like You,” “Games People Play,” and “Eye in the Sky.”

Paramount’s Original Laser Spectacular debuted in 1986 and is the longest touring theater production show in history. The 90-minute production features digital sound, elaborate lighting, colors and animated special effects using high tech laser technology synchronized to the legendary music of Pink Floyd Each year the show is updated with new technical and creative advancements, leaving rave reviews in its wake.
