Station Casinos Shakes Things Up With Free March House Entertainment

Station Casinos continues to entertain locals with a number of new weekly acts and shows at several of its properties in addition to its trademark bands that the city has grown to love.

Beginning March 12, Rock N’ Roll 2 Soul joins the entertainment lineup at Palace Station featuring the original Cornell Gunter’s Coasters, Mary Williams of The Shirelles and Elvis tribute artist Jonathan Von Brana. With the addition of Rock N’ Roll 2 Soul, Bonkerz Comedy Club is being renamed Palace Showroom to reflect the additional entertainment offerings. Based on its popularity Bonkerz will continue to have weekly headliners, and will now expand performances from three to six nights a week. More new entertainment includes the Unsigned series every first and fourth Thursday of the month and Yellow Brick Road on Friday nights, both at Green Valley Ranch. Toto Zara has added a second night at Red Rock Resort, now performing every Friday and Saturday. Most shows are free or will be noted below if they have a minimal cover charge. * Quinn’s – Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with music from the Royal Purple Rockers from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Darby O’ Gill & The Little People from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
* Ovation – St. Patrick’s Day revelry from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. with performances by Otherwise, Picture Pilot, Black Market Music and Magni Fi. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Thursday:
* Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Michael Grimm and his band from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. On March 11, Shaun DeGraff will perform in his place.
* Ovation – Unsigned series on the first and fourth Thursday of the month featuring talented and popular local and regional bands that are currently unsigned. The March schedule features: Your Majesty and Imagine Dragons on March 4 and Play For Keeps and Summit Grove on March 25. Doors open at 8 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

* Ovation – Doo wop group N Demand performs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
* Ovation – Funky rock with The Lon Bronson All-Star Band with doors at 8 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Friday:
* Ovation – Yellow Brick Road (YBR) performs from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. This Las Vegas-based classic rock tribute band takes on the entire classic rock/pop spectrum with an emphasis on details and inflections. On March 19, High Wire will perform from 12:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. in YBR’s place. Guests must be 21 years or older.
* Quinn’s Irish Pub – Darby O’Gill & The Little People take the stage from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
* Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Peter Love on piano from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.

* Access Showroom – Third Town, 2008 “Nashville Star” finalists, performs southern rock and country classics as well as original songs, complete with line dancing with Emerald Yancey.
