Station Casinos continues to entertain locals with a number of new weekly acts and shows at several of its properties in addition to its trademark bands that the city has grown to love.
New shows include Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns with its unique blend of funk, soul, jazz and salsa at Palace Station every Saturday and Hitzville the Show, which takes a journey through the best of Motown at Green Valley Ranch. Stetzen performs country rock hits at Texas Station every Thursday and Jerry Tiffe joins the lineup at Texas Station as well. La Movida-Hot Latin Nights presents the best in salsa music every Friday at Fiesta Rancho. Most shows are free or will be noted below if they have a minimal cover charge. Coming this month are:

* Ovation – The high-energy cover band DrZhivegas will rock the Ovation stage with its Las Vegas Locals Rock show. Doors open at 8 p.m. and guests must 21 years and older.
* Ovation – Hitzville the Show features Jin-Jin Reeves and a cast of talented artists who take the audience on a journey through time, performing Motown favorites. Shows are at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. with a $15 cover.

* Ovation – Yellow Brick Road (YBR), the Las Vegas-based classic rock tribute band, takes the stage at 9 p.m. Unlike most tribute bands that generally pay homage to one artist only, YBR takes on the entire classic rock/pop spectrum. Guests must be 21 years and older. On May 6, the show will be dark.
* Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Michael Grimm on piano from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Every Thursday:
* Ovation – The Lon Bronson All-Star Band performs high-energy rock from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. with its 14-piece band. This show is known for bringing in special guest artists, so be sure to stop by. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Every Friday:
* Ovation – The Michael Grimm Band performs from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Grimm performs his personal blend of music where a country boy melds soul and rock accompanied by his 12-piece band. The band will not perform on May 15 as Mac McAnally will be headlining that night.
* Ovation – Steel Panther performs from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. This ’80s glam metal parody band demonstrates their spirit and love of everything rock ‘n’ roll with their colorful repartee, loud costumes and graphic body language. Guests must be 21 years and older.
* Quinn’s Irish Pub – Darby O’Gill & The Little People take the stage from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.
* Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Peter Love on piano from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.
