Sierra Gold hosts a special Kentucky Derby viewing party sponsored by Maker’s Mark bourbon at all three locations on Saturday, May 2 beginning at 2 p.m. The spirit of Churchill Downs will be in Las Vegas as all ladies wearing a sun hat will receive one complimentary mint julep or mimosa, and each location will also honor the woman wearing the sexiest race day outfit.
In addition to various drink specials for all guests, Sierra Gold will also offer food specials on both its Double Bourbon Sliders, which include two double beef sliders topped with caramelized onions, bourbon sauce and coleslaw, served with coo coo fries, and its Sweet BBQ Glazed Chicken Sandwich, which is made of a grilled chicken breast, sweet BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese and shredded lettuce and is served with coo coo chips.
The viewing parties will also include a “Horse Race Contest” where all guests in attendance can draw one random number assigned to a horse in the Kentucky Derby. If a guest’s horse whose number they have drawn wins the Kentucky Derby, then the guest will win their choice of either $20 in free play or a $20 gift card. Golden Rewards members have a chance to draw an additional horse number for every four-of-a-kind they win from the start of the party until post time.
