Ricardo’s Mexican Restaurant invites guests to toast tacos and tequila for a cause throughout the month of September in honor of Hunger Action Month.

Beginning Tuesday, September 1, Ricardo’s Mexican Restaurant, in partnership with Three Square , will be celebrating Hunger Action Month. Guests that bring in any four canned food items in September will receive 10% off their final bill.

“We’re truly excited to be partnering with Three Square in celebrating Hunger Action Month. It’s a wonderful way to give back to the community for those of us that are fortunate enough to,” said Ricardo’s owner Bob Ansara.

Three Square asks that all donated items come in their original packaging with proper labels for distribution. Items best to donate are canned or boxed goods (soups, macaroni and cheese, tuna, boxed cereal or oatmeal, rice, beans) in addition to personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant), baby products (diapers, baby wipes) and paper and cleaning goods (toilet paper, plastic storage bags, paper towels).

Guests can deliver items to Ricardo’s Mexican Restaurant in the Three Square collection bins located in the lobby.
