Hands-on seminar features Franciscan Oakville Estate Magnificat and Morton’s hors d’ oeuvres.

For those who have ever wanted to play winemaker, Morton’s The Steakhouse is hosting a very special Meritage Wine Blending Seminar on Friday, March 27 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Featuring Franciscan Oakville Estate Magnificat, the seminar will explain why and how the best wines are blended to perfection. The cost is $40 per guest, inclusive of tax and gratuity, and includes a sampling of Morton’s signature hors d’ oeuvres. Please call (702) 893-0703 for more information or to make a reservation.

Some of the world’s finest wines are composed of varietal blends and the hands-on seminar will show the magic that Franciscan winemakers use to create Magnificat. Complete with wine kits and under the guidance of an expert wine representative, guests will hone their blending skills to create their own blend with five classic Bordeaux varietals.

“We wanted to give guests the chance to really learn, hands-on, what goes into making a varietal blend,” said Daniel Hurst, Morton’s general manager. “This seminar will allow them the chance to see the process.”

Morton’s The Steakhouse is located at 400 East Flamingo Road. Dinner is served from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Sundays. For more information and reservations, please call (702) 893-0703.
