Everyone is invited to celebrate Las Vegas Helldorado Days in downtown Las Vegas May 13-16. There will be fun and activities for everyone – rodeo, carnival, contests, parade and fireworks.
Helldorado rodeo tickets are on sale now, priced at $10 for general admission adult tickets, free for ages 10 and younger, for the May 13 rodeo only. Tickets for the May 14-16 rodeo performances are priced at $15 for adults, $8 for ages 12 and younger. The first five rows of special flip-up seats are priced at $25. Tickets are available at these area locations:
* Elks Lodge 1468, 4100 W. Charleston Blvd. Hours: noon to 8 p.m. Monday – Friday, noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
* Sahara Coins, 7293 W. Sahara Ave., Suite 106. Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Some Helldorado events, such as the trail ride, begin as early as April 24 in various locations. Check the www.elkshelldorado.com/ Web site for details on entering the western art auction, golf tournament, $10,000 treasure hunt, Texas Hold’em poker tournament, Whiskerino contest and other scheduled events.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. daily May 13-16 for the carnival, displays, food vendors and exhibitors at the downtown rodeo grounds, located between Mesquite and Stewart avenues, from Las Vegas Boulevard to Seventh Street. Carnival admission is $3, or free with purchase of a rodeo ticket. The following Helldorado events are scheduled at the rodeo grounds unless otherwise noted:
