Master Magician Lance Burton will be bringing some magic to local dog rescue foundations at a 3 p.m. benefit show at the Palm Casino Resort. Other entertainers present are Sammy Shore, Bobby Slayton, George Wallace, Vinnie Favorito, Frank Scinta, Jeff Hobson, Dean Napolitan, Manny Olivera, Pam Matteson, Kathleen Dunbar and Pete Barbutti.
The show will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 31. Tickets can be purchased for $35 at the Palms box-office from noon until 7 p.m. daily. For further information, call 702-944-3200.
The funds raised from this year’s comedy jam will help three local organizations: Golden Retriever Rescue Southern Nevada, Las Vegas Basset Rescue and The Las Vegas Weimaraner Club & Rescue. These non-profit, all-volunteer organizations will use the funds for veterinary care, boarding, training and sanctuary for abandoned dogs in the community.
