The city of Las Vegas award-winning Rainbow Company Youth Theatre invites everyone to enjoy the “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” musical at Charleston Heights Arts Center, Dec. 4-13. Joseph and his coat of many colors come to vibrant life in this familiar parable about a boy blessed with prophetic dreams.  His challenging adventures, presented in a mixture of musical styles — country, calypso, bubblegum pop, and rock ‘n’ roll — create an extremely high-energy event for the entire family!

The production, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, is directed and choreographed by Rainbow Company Artistic Director Karen McKenney. The cast of 38 will feature Timothy Heidorn as Joseph, with narration by Andrea Shepherd. Joseph’s 11 brothers will be played by David Zobell, Anthony Meyer, Chris Marcellus, James Guinn, Joel Ruud, Jared Rush, Alec Terberg, Connor Breretou, Lucas Reilly, Oliver Kompst and Alix Locke Wells.

Performances are scheduled at 7 p.m. Dec. 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12, with 2 p.m. shows to be held Dec. 6, 12 and 13. The center is located at 800 S. Brush St. Tickets are priced at $3 for children age 12 and under, $5 for teens and seniors, and $7 for adults.  Season tickets are available at additional savings and bring special privileges.
