If traditional barbecue isn’t your style, mix up the stars and stripes themed weekend with Italian and Greek specials at Uncle Angelo’s Pizza Joint also located in Jerry’s Nugget Casino. Spaghetti and meatballs prepared with fresh ground beef, Italian spices and chopped onion topped off with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese are a delectable option for $5.95. The Greek special includes calamari, shrimp and scallops sautéed in white wine, olive oil and lemon with a sprinkling of parsley for $6.95. Uncle Angelo’s is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon until 11 p.m.
After the July 4 specials end, look for the return of the Steak and Lobster special for $15.75 and the Lobster special for $12.75. Both will run all day, every day in the 24/7 Jerry’s Famous Coffee Shop. The Lobster dinner features a succulent lobster tail and the Steak and Lobster dinner also includes that delicious lobster tail paired with a grilled-to-perfection New York steak.
