The Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas will begin its newest promotion June 28, giving away $69,000 in cash and a brand-new 2010 Chevy Camaro SS over 10 weeks, tying in with the Fremont Street Experience’s Summer of ’69: Vegas of Bust celebration,.
The $100,000 Cash ‘n’ Camaro Giveaway will feature many ways for guests to earn entries to win the cash and prizes, including playing table games and slots, as well as joining the hotel’s 24 Karat Club.
“This is an unbelievable opportunity for our players to win some big money and a hot sports car,” said Amy Chasey, vice president of marketing-advertising for the property. “The 2010 Camaro is gorgeous, and almost impossible to get at a dealership right now, plus the $69,000 in cash really adds to the promotion. We’re very excited to offer this awesome car which was modeled after the body style of the ’69 Camaro and cash prizes during this fun summer giveaway.”
Entry forms can be earned and dropped into the promotional drawing drum on the casino floor starting June 28. Drawings for $6,900 in cash will be held every Saturday at 9 p.m. beginning July 4. Winners must be present to take home the weekly cash prizes. The 2010 Camaro will be given away during the final drawing on Sept. 5 during the last weekend of the Fremont Street Experience’s summer-long celebration. Participants do not have to be present to win the Camaro. Complete rules will be posted on the casino floor.
The Grand Prize is a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS Coupe in inferno orange metallic paint and black leather interior. The car features a 426 horsepower 6.2 liter V-8 engine with 6-speed manual transmission, as well as stainless steel dual exhaust, 20” aluminum wheels, Boston Acoustics premium audio system, four-pack sport auxiliary gauges, heated leather power seats and Bluetooth.
“One lucky guest is going to be very excited to drive this amazing muscle car home,” added Chasey.
