Tony Marques didn’t set out to become a country singer, but that’s what happened when he was discovered by a Las Vegas promoter. Now the front man for his own country band, Marques has gained a tremendous Las Vegas following and is fast becoming a familiar name and face around the Nashville scene. His CD features original tracks including “Come and Get It” and “From Her to Here.”

A true American country music artist, Trent Tomlinson released his debut album Country Is My Rock in 2006 with three Top 40 singles on Billboard’s Hot Country charts. His fourth single, “That’s How It Still Oughta Be” was released this January and he continues to bring his famed twist to the country music scene.

Classic rock, contemporary country rock and southern rock come to the Fremont Street Experience as Southern Stue takes the stage. Band members have a legendary stage presence that leave the audience wanting more with their outlandish on-stage antics and down home country music playing favorites of Lynyrd Skynyrd to ZZ Top.

Best known for playing the drums in legendary band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Artimus Pyle was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 and continues to entertain crowds with the Artimus Pyle Band. The band’s bold personalities and true rock music come alive onstage.

Since the bands beginning in 1994, HighWire sticks to their true rock ‘n’ roll roots, performing songs that only real rockers would appreciate. Band members Kirsten Rosenberg, Bill Meyers, Johnny V. Nort and Donnie Cook are natives to Baltimore, but continue to electrify crowds across the U.S.

The Speaks Brothers have been a Las Vegas favorite for years. This five-piece band plays classic rock favorites from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s and always give the audience tunes they can rock along to.

Emmy® Award-winning country artist, TJ Weaver, returns to Fremont Street Experience for a truly southern performance. Former country headliner of the popular “Country Fever” show at the Golden Nugget, Weaver currently produces and performs in shows with his D-Zire band. Weaver has released three albums, one with RCA Records, and recently debuted his fourth album titled “RAIN.”

The 6th Annual RaceJam begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 27. All are invited to ride on downtown and enjoy great music while surrounded by the iconic neon lights of the Fremont Street Experience. All concerts are free and open to the public and parking is available at the Fremont Street Experience parking garage located at Carson and 4th Streets.

The Fremont Street Experience is a five-block entertainment complex located in historical downtown Las Vegas. In 1995, Fremont Street was closed to vehicular traffic and a giant screen was suspended 90-feet over the street to display spectacular light and sound shows on its 1,500 foot surface. The 12.5 million lights of the Viva Vision screen dazzle 365 nights a year and make the Fremont Street Experience a one-of-a-kind venue. With direct pedestrian access to 10 casinos, more than 60 restaurants, specialty retail and free nightly entertainment, the Fremont Street Experience attracts millions of annual visitors.
