The city of Las Vegas invites everyone to enjoy a western-themed spring celebration at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs on Saturday, April 4, from 12 to 4 p.m. Enjoy wagon and pony rides, a petting zoo, children’s activities, games, dancing and amusement rides.
Admission to the park and all activities will be free. Farmers’ market and food vendors will sell barbecue, hot dogs, funnel cakes, kettle corn and fresh fruits and vegetables. No pets or glass containers will be permitted. The park is located at 9200 Tule Springs Road. Call (702) 229-1087 for more information prior to April 4, or 229-8100 on event day.
Future family events planned at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs include the May 9 Rainbow Company Youth Theatre presentation of “Mark Twain’s Nevada” and Jimmie Ray’s Classic Country Express hayride-style country music concert on May 23.
