Vegas StrEATs Festival Two Year Anniversary – Saturday, March 9
El Cortez celebrates the two year anniversary of the monthly Vegas StrEATs food-truck, arts and music festival on the Jackie Gaughan Parkway from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, March 9. Many of Las Vegas’ favorite food trucks participate in Vegas StrEATs each month along with local art and clothing vendors from across the city. Presented by El Cortez, Vegas StrEATs brings food, live art and music to the Fremont East Entertainment District. Drink specials throughout the festival include $3 Bud Light, Shock Top and Bud Light Lime; $4 Jameson Irish Whiskey, Jagermeister and 1800 Silver Tequila shots; and $2 Pepsi products.
Karaoke Fridays and Saturdays inside The Parlour
The Parlour inside El Cortez becomes downtown Las Vegas’ go-to destination for karaoke every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. From classics hits to today’s chart toppers, brave patrons can entertain their friends and guests during this exciting weekend party.
Award-Winning Elvis Presley Tribute
John Brooks, an award-winning Elvis Presley tribute artist, continues his performance inside The Parlour every Friday and Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. throughout March.

Beer, Brats and Basketball Madness- March 21-23
El Cortez will host a viewing party for the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament in its Fiesta Room March 21-23. The party is open to the public each day during the following times: Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Saturday, March 23, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Guests can enjoy every game while taking advantage of a special viewing party menu that will feature $1 Budweiser drafts and $1 hot dogs and $2 brats. Additional stadium-style fare will also be available.
Fresh Stone Crab Special – Now Through May
The Flame Steakhouse offers a weekly, fresh jumbo stone crab dinner special every Friday and Saturday while supplies last. Stone crab is flown in fresh from Florida every week for the Friday and Saturday nightly dinner special, which is available for only $28 per pound and served with cottage fries and coleslaw.
