Free Gift Cards for Jackpot Winners in December
Throughout December, Club Cortez players winning a jackpot of $200 or more on a slot machine, a $200 or more jackpot on a video poker five-cent or lower denomination machine, a $300 or more jackpot on a video poker ten-cent or higher denomination machine or a $200 or more jackpot on live keno will receive their choice of a $10 gift certificate from either Wal-Mart, Smith’s, Shell, or Chevron. All jackpot winners will also receive an entry into the weekly Saturday night 42″ LCD HDTV giveaway and $2,000 cash prize drawing. New Year’s Eve Bash
Ring in the New Year at the El Cortez with the casino’s New Year’s Eve Bash from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. inside its Fiesta Room. Tickets are $35 in advance or $50 at the door and can be purchased by calling 800-634-6703 ext. 6421 or at the casino cage. Tickets include an open bar, hors d’ouvres, live entertainment, champagne toast at midnight and give guests the chance to win one of five $2,010 cash prizes.
The Flame Steakhouse: Stone Crab Special
The Flame Steakhouse will feature fresh stone crab flown in weekly for the Friday and Saturday night dinner special. The stone crab special is available for only $28 per pound. Also, try out the Flame’s new sweet potato fries.
Chanukah Dinner Specials at The Flame Steakhouse – Dec. 11-18
To celebrate Chanukah, the El Cortez is offering great dinner specials at The Flame Steakhouse from Dec. 11-18. Guests start their meal with an appetizer of chopped chicken liver and are then given the choice of either matzo ball soup or a mixed green salad. For the main course, guests can choose from brisket of beef or roasted apricot chicken with both choices served with potato latkes, kasha and bowties and steamed broccoli. For dessert, guests can choose from either sweet raisin kugel or ice cream. The Flame Steakhouse Chanukah special is $18.95.
Cafe Cortez Dinner Specials
Visit Cafe Cortez for prime rib dinner only $7.95. Meal includes choice of soup or salad. Cafe also offers a fajita dinner for just $8.95. Cafe Cortez also introduces new vegetarian entrees to its menu this November featuring a veggie burger, veggie fajita and veggie Chow Mein.
Football Season Specials
Guests are invited to come to the weekly Monday Night Football Viewing Party in the El Cortez’s Race & Sports Book with popcorn, nachos and soft pretzels served from 5 to 8 p.m. Various prizes will be awarded during each Monday Night Football game. Every Monday, individuals will receive one free Vienna hot dog with any sports book bet of $20 or more.
Graveyard Specials
Cafe Cortez serves a limited graveyard menu Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Specials include:
· Two eggs with choice of bacon or sausage, breakfast potatoes and toast for $3.75 plus tax.
· Ham and two eggs, breakfast potatoes and toast for $7.25 plus tax.
Bar Specials
Martini Madness – daily 2-for-1 happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. – at all casino bars (martini menu only). First Friday After Party – Nov. 6 – Enjoy $5 martinis at all casino bars from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Party Pit
Play blackjack with some of the most beautiful dealers downtown every Friday and Saturday night from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
