Mushroom lovers rejoice! This November, it’s time to celebrate one of the most popular vegetables in the U.S., the mushroom. Noted for its nutritional value and variety of tastes and textures, the mushroom is in-season all year round and Alizé at the Top of the Palms is offering a special, three-course menu showcasing the magnificence of the mushroom. Featuring tasty dishes that incorporate mushrooms from delicate to savory, the Mushroom Menu is priced at $65 per person. To please the palette even more, $5 of every Mushroom Menu purchased will be donated to Three Square, a local food bank that serves as the food solution for the hungry in Southern Nevada.

“The mushroom is such a versatile ingredient particularly in terms of taste and texture,” said Chef Rochat. “One of the most appealing qualities is that the mushroom can be both hearty and fulfilling.”

Chef Rochat’s special three-course mushroom menu begins with a choice of Chanterelle mushroom terrine with potato and leek soup featuring fresh summer truffles or roasted mushroom bisque with grilled brioche, gruyère cheese and mushroom panini or wild mushroom and beluga lentil salad with baby spinach, black truffle vinaigrette and parmesan cheese. Next, choose a main course of either roasted portobello mushrooms with grilled beef rib-eye served with foie gras potato croustillant, parsley and a garlic béarnaise or lobster mushroom risotto with Maine lobster and herb beurre monte or sautéed salmon with porcini mushroom and cauliflower croquette with potato purée, truffle and almond brown-butter sauce or pan-roasted Cervena venison with herb and mushroom spaetzle accompanied by butternut squash and poivrade sauce. For dessert, choose from Crème Brûlée or Soufflé Du Jour or Mascarpone Tiramisu.
