The Las Vegas Invitational, one of the nation’s premier college basketball tournaments, is pleased to announce the 2009 tournament lineup. The Fighting Illini of the University of Illinois (24-10), Oklahoma State (23-12), University of Utah (24-10) and Bradley University (21-15) headline the 9th Annual Thanksgiving tournament.
Seattle University, Presbyterian College, Wofford College, and Southern University round out the final teams included in this year’s invitational. Each team will play four games—the first two at campus sites and the final two at the Orleans Arena located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino November 27 and 28.
Beginning Saturday, June 13, the Las Vegas Invitational will be offering a buy-one get-one promotion for local residents of Las Vegas. The promotion will run throughout the month of June and can be purchased by calling the Orleans Arena Box Office at 702.284.7777 or by visiting www.orleansarena.com.
