Blue Man Group welcomes students home for the holidays with an all new student rush promotion. Local and visiting college students can spice up their winter break by seeing the hysterically funny show at The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino for a student price of $32.50 (plus tax and service fees.)  The special holiday offer is available now through Jan. 12.

The offer is only available on day-of-show purchases and applies only to red-zone orchestra seating. Students must mention the promotion code GB1 STURUSH when purchasing tickets at the Blue Man Group box office and by calling 702.414.9000 or 1.800.BLUEMAN. Students must present their student IDs when picking up tickets at the Blue Man box office.

Blue Man Group performs nightly at The Venetian at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., with an added 4 p.m. holiday performance between Dec. 22 and Jan. 3.*

*Thursday, Dec. 25 will feature 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. performances only; Wednesday, Dec. 31 will feature 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. performances only.

The newly redesigned Postrio located at The Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes in St. Mark’s Square is offering a winter pre-fix menu now through December 24, 2008.  The three-course menu offers guests a choice for each course and is priced at $49 per person, excluding tax, gratuity and beverage.

Celebrating the recent release of his debut album, appropriately titled “A Long Time Coming”, Venetian headliner Wayne Brady will host a CD signing and two song performance at ZIA Records for his Las Vegas fans. The 12-track R&B collection features Brady’s own compositions along with his inspired reinventions of such classics as Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come,” The Beatles’ “Can’t Buy Me Love” and Stevie Wonder’s “All I Do.”

Brady has become a staple of Las Vegas entertainment over the last year with his celebrated show, Making It Up, at The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino. As one of the most versatile men in show business, Brady is thrilled to celebrate the release of his newest project with the local fans that have embraced his headlining show.
