Club Fortune Casino continues to offer locals a variety of weekend entertainment. Audiences can enjoy music from various genres with a different band each Friday night. On Saturdays, KOMP 92.3 gets the energy flowing with a live broadcast from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Lounge Bar. At 9 p.m., the live entertainment begins with ’80s metal band Hair Nation performing hits from artist such as Def Leppard, Poison and Van Halen, among others. Club Fortune Casino also just added Industry Night to its great entertainment lineup. Patrons can enjoy $1 domestic draft beer and $1 margaritas from 6 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. every Tuesday night. All performances are free and guests must be 21 years or older.

Palms Casino Resort Announces Updated Free Entertainment In The Lounge

In keeping with the spirit of The Lounge, the Palms Casino Resort‘s intimate venue, two new acts are set to perform including dueling pianos and performances by the legendary Skip Martin.

DETAILS:
Skip Martin and his energetic band are set to perform hits of all genres Sunday nights beginning Sunday, May 2. Performances will be held from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m.

The Lounge provides a great intimate setting to watch Dueling Pianos Wednesday nights beginning Wednesday, May 5. This high-energy, interactive show will run from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m.

Station Casinos Shakes Things Up With Free March House Entertainment

Station Casinos continues to entertain locals with a number of new weekly acts and shows at several of its properties in addition to its trademark bands that the city has grown to love.

Beginning March 12, Rock N’ Roll 2 Soul joins the entertainment lineup at Palace Station featuring the original Cornell Gunter’s Coasters, Mary Williams of The Shirelles and Elvis tribute artist Jonathan Von Brana. With the addition of Rock N’ Roll 2 Soul, Bonkerz Comedy Club is being renamed Palace Showroom to reflect the additional entertainment offerings. Based on its popularity Bonkerz will continue to have weekly headliners, and will now expand performances from three to six nights a week. More new entertainment includes the Unsigned series every first and fourth Thursday of the month and Yellow Brick Road on Friday nights, both at Green Valley Ranch. Station Casinos Announces Upcoming Boulder Blues Performers

Boulder Station Hotel & Casino announces a new free series blues taking place every Thursday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. inside The Railhead. The series will be featuring some of the country’s best blues musicians on a rotating schedule. Guests must be 21 years or older.

March 11 – Scott Holt
Blues guitar virtuoso Scott Holt got his start with the help of blues legend Buddy Guy, whose band he played in for 10 years. In the last decade, Holt has released numerous solo albums and has worked with artists such as Little Feat, Tab Benoit, Mitch Mitchell and Tommy Shannon.

March 18 – Jason Ricci & New Blood
Jason Ricci & New Blood have been performing a mixture of blues, rock, funk, jazz fusion, punk, carnival, psychedelic and performance art together for more than seven years. Ricci has won numerous awards including the Muddy Waters Award for Most Promising New Talent and The Blues Critic’s award for “Harmonica Player of the Year.”

March 25 – Chris Duarte
Chris Duarte, who is often compared to the late Stevie Ray Vaughn, performs an average of 200 shows a year, delivering his own style of Texas blues-rock fused with an element of jazz. His critically-acclaimed debut album came out in 1994 and he has subsequently released six albums, all supported by touring. His latest album, 396, was released in 2009.

April 1 – Michael Burks
Michael “Iron Man” Burks is a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter whose musical style has deep roots in blues. In 1997, Burks released his first album, From the Inside Out, which immediately garnered accolades from the blues community. The album was followed by 2001′s Make It Rain, 2003′s I Smell Smoke and 2008′s Iron Man.

Fremont Street Experience Welcomes Headliner Foghat During 7th Annual Racejam

Fremont Street Experience welcomes race fans during NASCAR weekend with the 7th annual RaceJam beginning Monday, February 22 through Sunday, February 28. The week-long party will feature live performances from headliner Foghat, in addition to Jimmie Ray’s Johnny Cash Tribute and The Jay Bolan Band.
 
Foghat brings their earthy blues rock music to Fremont Street Experience performing hits that catapulted their success including “Slow Ride,” “I Just Wanna Make Love to You,” and “Fool for the City.” Foghat will perform free concerts at 9 p.m. both Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27 on 3rd Street Stage. Roger Earl and Dave Peverett joined forces in the 1960s with a true passion for rock and roll and enlisted fellow band members Rod Price and Tony Stevens to form Foghat. The band immediately began touring performing to excited fans worldwide. Foghat currently consists of members Roger Earl, Craig Macgregor, Bryan Bassett and Charlie Huhn and continue their non-stop tour with incredible energy, promising new and exciting performances from one of rock’s most established acts.
 
Jimmie Rae’s Johnny Cash Tribute is a dynamic, charismatic performance that incorporates music from all six decades of Johnny Cash’s career including some of his last songs such as “Hurt” and “Like the 309.” The band brings a wide range of music including old vintage country, a touch of gospel, blues and rock to Fremont Street Experience.
 
The Jay Bolan Band brings the best of classic rock to Fremont Street Experience with hits from groups including Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Journey, Grand Funk, Lynard Skynard and more. The 7th Annual RaceJam begins at 8 p.m. on Monday, February 22 and in addition to live entertainment, includes drink specials sponsored by Crown Royal and 42 Below. Fremont Street Experience welcomes Las Vegas locals and tourists to take part in this year’s Fat Tuesday Pub Crawl in celebration of Mardi Gras on Tuesday, February 16.
 
Guests to Fremont Street Experience can join the pub crawl throughout Downtown’s favorite bars by texting FREMONT to 99158 (*message and data charges apply) to RSVP for the event. Check-in will be at 425 Fremont Street, Suite 160 next to Walgreens. Check-in is required to receive special offers and guests must be 21 to participate. The first 1000 guests will receive complimentary beads.
 
The event will include live entertainment from David “Mojo” Poe, Pete Contino Band and Bob Sachs’ Dixieland Trio highlighting the best in authentic Cajun, zydeco, New Orleans born Dixieland and swing music.
