Gretchen Wilson Set To Rock Stoney’s Rockin’ Country – Stoney’s And 102.7 The Coyote Bring Country Superstar’s Club Tour To The Strip For Free Show

Country songstress Gretchen Wilson brings her “I Got Your Country Right Here” club tour to Stoney’s Rockin’ Country for a free show on Thursday, March 11 at 8:30 p.m. A rare opportunity to preview the music live from Wilson’s upcoming album of the same name, Gretchen Wilson will rock Stoney’s on The Strip for one performance only.

Choosing to return to her club roots for this exclusive tour, Wilson’s 16-city trek is in support of her upcoming fourth full-length album “I Got Your Country Right Here,” set to hit stores March 30 on her own Redneck Records label.

“This is where I started,” says Wilson. “There’s nothing like the immediate feedback you get from the fans when they’re just a few feet away.”

Wilson credits her seemingly meteoric rise to stardom to the simple fact that she is genuine – she is what she sings. Her flair for tailoring songs as gorgeously rough-edged as she is, has given her the kind of originality few women in country music history have ever achieved.

Wilson comes to Stoney’s, the ultimate working man’s party bar, on the heels of performing a special rendition of the U.S. National Anthem at the recent 2010 NBA All-Star Game in Texas.

No stranger to success, in 2004 her first single, “Redneck Woman,” spent six weeks at number one. Her debut album, “Here For The Party,” sold more than five million copies. She’s won across-the-board awards including a Grammy and ACM, CMA and AMA nods for best female vocalist. She’s toured to large and roaring crowds around the world. Her second CD, “All Jacked Up,” rode enthusiastic reviews to platinum status.

Over the last few years, she has been featured on “60 Minutes,” “Dateline NBC,” “20/20 Primetime” and CNN’s “People In The News,” and she has appeared on virtually every morning, noon and late-night television show on the air. Magazine covers and major news features could paper an entire wall.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m for the free concert which is first come, first served.Thursday night is also Ladies Night at Stoney’s. Ladies drink for a buck.

Stoney’s is the rockin’ country party headquarters in Las Vegas and is conveniently located on the south end of the famous Strip. Come kick up your heels or just kick back and relax and enjoy free dance lessons, beer pong, miniature bowling, pool, a cowboy arcade, mechanical bull and more. With more than 20,000 square feet of easy-going party space, locals and tourists can cut loose in an affordable, entertaining and comfortable atmosphere.

Recently named a Best Place to Perform by Band and Venue and among the Top 100 nightclubs in the nation for the second consecutive year by Nightclub and Bar Magazine, music is the key to the overall party vibe. Check out Gretchen Wilson rock Stoney’s concert size stage from the 2,500-square-foot hardwood dance floor. Multiple large-screen televisions and a cutting-edge sound system make Stoney’s the best place for live music and the hottest hangout in Las Vegas.

Stoney’s Rockin’ Country is open Thursday through Sunday from 7 p.m.
