Silverton Casino Lodge is kicking off August by adding to its list of fun, ongoing summer activities for Discovery Card Club members.

“Date Nite” Tuesdays:
Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 3, Discovery Card Club members can enjoy the perfect weeknight date with dinner at the Seasons Buffet for $5 per person and a free movie in the Pavilion starting at 7:30 p.m.

The first hit from the big screen being shown is “Casablanca.” Other classics being shown in August will include “Blue Hawaii” on Aug. 10, “Some Like It Hot” on Aug. 17, “On the Town” on Aug. 24 and “Roman Holiday” on Aug.31. The Pavilion will be transformed into the perfect setting for movie night with candy concession stands, popcorn, ice cream and a full-service bar.

$1 Drink Thursdays:
Beginning Thursday, Aug. 5, Discovery Card Club members can enjoy $1 drinks all day on Thursdays. From sunrise to sundown guests can enjoy well drinks and domestic drafts for only $1 at all of the restaurants and casino bars.

Panevino Ristorante invites guests to unwind and relax in their newly remodeled, stylishly, chic bar & lounge. The Italian destination restaurant, located one block east of Las Vegas Boulevard on Sunset Road, recently launched a special Ladies Night exclusive in the bar & lounge every Friday night in addition to happy hour specials throughout the week.

“Our lounge gives guests an option for casual socializing and conversation,” said Vincenzo Granata, General Manager of Panevino Ristorante. “Guests that don’t have time to sit for a full meal in our main dining room can still enjoy small bites, hand-crafted cocktails and our signature hospitality in our bar & lounge.”

We use natural ingredients like agave nectar, acai berry and organic honey.”

Tropical Smoothie Cafe Spreads Sunshine in Las Vegas on National Flip Flop Day – June 18
More than 10,000 FREE Jetty Punch smoothies will be given away in fundraising effort for Camp Sunshine

Flip flop season has officially arrived. All 20 Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations in Las Vegas welcome the start of the 2010 summer season with its fourth annual National Flip Flop Day celebration. This year also marks Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s third annual partnership with Camp Sunshine to raise funds to send children with life-threatening illness and their families to the camp for a week of rest, relaxation, plus medical counseling and much-needed emotional support.

From June 1 to June 30, 2010, Tropical Smoothie Cafe invites customers to contribute to the Camp Sunshine fundraising effort through the purchase of $1 paper flip flops, which are posted throughout the store. Then on June 18, the first 500 customers who visit each of the 20 Las Vegas locations wearing flip flop sandals will receive a free 24-oz. Jetty Punch™ smoothie.

“There is no better way for us to celebrate our fourth annual summer kick-off day than to partner with an organization that helps children and their families who truly need an escape,” said Dina Mitchell Area Developer/Marketing Director for Tropical Smoothie Cafe. “Camp Sunshine is an exceptional group of professionals and volunteers who provide a positive experience for everyone involved.
