Each time a player picks a winning team correctly, with a no point spread, they will be one step closer to winning the weekly jackpot. Picks are due each Sunday at 9 a.m.

Swing into Quiksilver inside Miracle Mile Shops at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip now through Nov. 17 to try out the new video game, Tony Hawk: RIDE before it is released.  Visitors to the Miracle Mile Shops location, which is the only store in Las Vegas previewing Tony Hawk: RIDE, will be able to experience the true thrill of skateboarding thanks to the games motion sensing skateboard that allows the player to control the action with their feet.

The Gold Coast Hotel and Casino will hold its first ever Poker Run to raise money for the United Way of Southern Nevada on Saturday, October 17. In a day of fun and excitement, participants are invited to ride their motorcycles (or cars) on a trek through Southern Nevada, stopping at five locations as they build a poker hand in an attempt to win the $500 Grand Prize. The nearly 125-mile adventure, beginning and ending at the Gold Coast, has checkpoints at Bonnie Springs, Saddle West Pahrump and Mountain Springs Saloon.
 
Following the run itself, participants will be treated to a complimentary barbeque, live performances from Moanin’ Black Snakes and the chance to win one of seven $50 door prizes.
 
All net proceeds from the Poker Run will go to the United Way.

Hosted by Justin Timberlake and Butch Harmon, young golfers will learn the fundamentals of the game through a demonstration of basic skills and techniques. The event is free and open to the public and the first 500 attendees will receive complimentary Mollicoolz Shakers, a single serving treat of tiny ice cream beads that produce a sweet tasty milkshake when combined with milk.
